I don't know about this review... I like this score a lot. It's well thought out thematically, melodic writing is elegant, not overdone. I know Elkis was a synthesist on Aeon Flux, which I quite like, but this soundtrack is definitely better, more consistent. It has a good musical range and unique sound. The way he blends orchestra with electronics is really neat. The action cues are wicked too. I liked the film as well, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a lot smarter than the trailers made it out to be. Overall an impressive debut.

Then you are in the minority. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Seeing that the score has gotten the cold shoulder from the soundtrack reviewers, that's hard to believe. Clemmensen likes to root for newcomers and if he gave Perfect Getaway 2-stars then don't expect much sympathy from other reviewers.
