what is the name of that hymn that is played/ sung at the funeral in the end. it is the same one sung in titanic when they are at mass. does anyone know it? thanks, ~rich

I think it's Eternal Father Strong to Save.....but I'm not entirely sure.

I think it's Eternal Father Strong to Save.....but I'm not entirely sure.

You're right about the hymn, however the one from Titanic is Nearer My God To Thee.

Actually, both are in Titanic, Eternal Father is sung by the passengers in the mass, as Bob said, and Nearer is during the sinking, on violin.

Actually on the movie titanic, they sing Eternal Father during the Church Service and the quartet plays nearer my god to thee on the deck while the ship is sinking. If you watch the church service scene you will hear them sing " For those in peril on the sea". Sorry, I was a hardcore Titanic Addict. I saw it 22 times in the theater.
