• Now Playing: watching the rock

Although I love the Pirates music...... my 5year old and I are watching The Rock as I type this... and as Connery is in the elevator with the scared stylist.... my 5 yr. old exclaimed.. "HEY THAT"S THE SAME MUSIC FROM PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN!!" so I got on the internet to see if it was the same composer, it brought me to this page.. and viola... she was correct.... is she super smart or are these themes just so very very similar...

I agree with whoever wrote this, you are either lying and simply saw the similarity yourself, or you're a terrible parent for letting a 5-year-old watch the Rock.

Anne, don't listen to your first 2 repliers. You've done nothing to analyze your level of quality as a parent, and those 2 repliers are fools for thinking so, (especially Alans Zimvestri).

I'm glad to see that people on this site (like you, Anne) are actually calling out on Pirates of the Caribbean's blatant similarities. I hate the Pirates scores for many reasons. The fact that they're getting so much undeserved praise, is just a bonus.
