Not having heard the other scores it sounds fine to me. I've heard a few things that all sound similar to each other but that doesn't make the score bad whatsoever and neither does it sound bad.
The whole soundtrack is great, and i suggest it to everyone. I also think it's the best out of all 3, just like the movies.
Personally i think Klaus Badelt is better than Hans Zimmer, he's just not quite at the same level of grandeur yet.
It's a little disappointing to hear how many people worked on this though and not just him, but i think it turned out really good, and for a revival genre as it was, i think being influenced by other movies is just what it needed to kick off, and could develop from there.
But basically everything the reviewer told you it isn't, it actually is and more.
