Like the movie, Carter Burwells score has been getting some very underserved bad raps. We found the tracks growing on us the same way J. Williams' The Patriot did -- they are moving, deeply felt and powerful. Tracks were clear and full; perhaps other reviewers need new equipment as this is one big score befitting the film. The CD is built to layer one upon the other and the final siege is given no less than four tracks to engulf in the battle, each growing more tormented and vicious than the last. We rate it a definite buy.
