Wrong music in the movie!   Saturday, May 21, 2011 (8:11 p.m.)

Did anybody else notice that inappropriate themes from the previous movies were tracked into Stranger Tides? Davy Jones and East India Trading Co themes were both in there when they made no sense... Why??

Filmtracks usually sucks when it reviews big Zimmer scores, but I can't argue with their review this time. STRANGER TIDES SCORE IS A LAZY PIECE OF SH-T! AND THE ALBUM IS EVEN WORSE!!

Yes! I heard a bit of Calypso's theme too.

When in the movie was "Davy Jones' Theme" incorporated? I saw the movie last night, and I never heard it.

Because the producer and ghostwriters don't give a crap about a thing called "thematic continuity".

The album makes the score appear better than it is in reality.
The album presents all original music there is, and is therefor mostly a decent, if boring and sometimes straining listen.
In the film, however, your ears start to bleed when "He's A Pirate" is played at maximum volume for the 132nd time.

The score in the film is a true frisbee, not the album (even though it deserves it as well).
