One of Elfman's top scores ever!

One of Elfman's top scores ever!   Friday, July 27, 2001 (7:53 p.m.)

This is a wonderfully bombastic, fast paced, loud, and continually inventive score. The way he fuses synthed music with analog is fantastic. It far out does any score like it this summer, and it could bring a real possibility of another Oscar nod for Elfman. Go buy this score at once!

I would have to concur! I really enjoyed Elfman's use of the brass and percussion in connection with the synthesized music. Well worth the money!!

Agreed! Admittedly, I was a little dubious about the film itself but went into it with an open mind, and from the first few moments of the soundtrack I was hooked adn prepared to love the movie whether it sucked or not! Elfman's score evokes the feel of the Goldsmith original without retreading it, and the end result is a serious triumph for all invloved. I especially liked the Rule The Planet Remix, a very nice touch and hearing it makes me want to see the film again!
