colours of the wind=wind beneath my wings

Is it just me or does the song "Colours of the Wind" from Pocahontas sound dubiously similar to the famous "Wind Beneath My Wings" - a very popular weepie-song mostly associated with Bette Midler and "Beaches" (1988)?? It sounds to me like the same song only with variation on the noteplay and I often confuse the two by humming one and accidentally drifting into the other.
