Incorrect order of songs   Monday, January 25, 2010 (12:27 a.m.)
• Now Playing: Vaughan-Williams Oboe Concerto

Regardless of your point about the recording level of the tracks, this soundtrack, which is superior to many recent children's films, Disney or otherwise, is let down by the order of the tracks on the soundtrack. All of the vocal tracks are listed before the instrumental tracks meaning that the story in music is muddled. Further, there is too much energy up front with the more contemplative instrumental tracks coming later. Can someone please list the correct order for the tracks?

I'll give it a shot, though I have a feeling some of the cues may have been stitched together out of contextual order. For instance, Tiana sings the lamenting version of Almost There In "Ray Laid Low", an event that happens relatively early in the film -- but Ray Laid Low itself happens closer toward the end.

Thanks very much. I agree about "Ray Laid Low". I think it is better placed about third last as the action happens quite late in the film. I'm really surprised that with the very high standards of the film, they slipped up like this with the soundtrack. Still I think we have it about right here. Thanks again.
