Project X score - Derivative   Wednesday, March 27, 2002 (4:03 p.m.)

I RECENTLY PURCHASED THE SCORE AND DESPITE THE OBVIOUS DERIVATIVE NATURE OF MUCH OF JAMES HORNERS WORK I THOUGHT IT WAS COOL. YES YOU CAN HEAR COCOON, MIGHTY JOE, WILLOW,SEARCHING FOR BOBBY FISHER, ALIENS, STAR TREK 2&3 IN THERE ALLONG WITH PHRASES FROM MOST OF HIS OTHER SCORES, BUT IT HAS THE MAGICAL QUALITY OF EARLY HORNER, SOMETHING DISTINCTLY LACKING IN HIS RECENT WORKS.

I ALSO WRITE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I HAVE A MENTAL DISORDER. Sorry.
