  Noyce's choice

Good review, great score, excellent movie. One minor error in the review: Michael Caine and Philip Noyce spoke to an audience in Los Angeles in December of last year and recounted your anecdote about Craig Armstrong differently. Caine stated he was a fan of Noyce's music and suggested to Noyce that he use him for "The Quiet American" during their first meeting to discuss the film. Noyce then surprised Caine by announcing he had already assigned Armstrong to score the film.
