On a more neutral note about the site

For those that haven't caught on yet (which seems to be most), what Christian is doing lately is updating the catalog of old reviews, going by composer. There were a few weeks when he posted nothing but new or updated (as in updating existing reviews to his new format) of Jerry Goldsmith scores. Now he has moved on to catching up on James Horner. After he finishes his James Horner updates, who knows? A few weeks of John Williams, maybe?

Ultimately, it is his site, and updating the catalog of older reviews is a worthy goal, however, where he may have gone wrong is in either not realizing or caring that a large percentage of his readership is primarily looking for reviews of recent releases. It might be wise of him to toss the masses a bone and post the occasional new review while he is doing his updating, or he is going to loose his audience -- the faithful readers that have kept this site in business long after most of the older review sites have gone under.
