It's the Soviet National Anthem.

It is indeed the Anthem of the Soviet Union

I think it is the 1944 version, I know for sure it is the anthem. I think I heard the sailors sing Stalin's name, I maybe mistaken, but I know for sure it is the anthem. The one the sailors sang in the Red October was a a more pronounced version of the anthem. If you were to buy one, it is much less understandable, so dont try to sing in your head with the Red Army Choir version.

Дорогой Товарищ,

It's the Anthem of the Soviet Union as _ pointed out, probably the 1977-19? version (the original was written in 1944, and later 'de-Stalinised').
Music by Alexander Vasil'evich Alexandrov (1883-1946)Words by Sergei Vladimirovich Mikhalkov (1913- ). I got a version off either http://www.marxists.org or another helpful site, http://www.cyberussr.com/rus/sg-gimn.html both on which you can find the translations and original lyrics.

От Сеъчан. :P
