Disappointed with John Williams   Wednesday, April 20, 2005 (6:59 p.m.)

If you are any fan of the Star Wars Saga...and love all the previous albums, then you should only care for 1 track on this album....and that is, "Battle of the Heros."

This album sounds like garbage compared to the others... Williams should have taken a different approach adding more intense music such as, "Duel of the Fates"

Well, while it may not have all the new themes that everyone seems to think it should have, from the musician's perspective it seems to be fairly well thought out. True, the old trilogy had at least 4 new themes per sequel, however, not many people know that those thems exist (ie The Forest Battle, Parade of The Ewoks, etc.). From what I have heard, Williams has again added a new meaning to the term "action music".

However, that's only a composer's view of the situation...

Your completely right, due to all the action in the movie, Williams had to come up with something that had multiple personalities

Hope the movie is better than the score though, but i trust Williams, he knows what he is doing

Just out of curiosity, if the album doesn't even come out until May 3rd, then how would you know how good the score is or not? The only track that has been released is "Battle of the Heros", but the rest of the album is as of yet unavailable as far as I know, so how could you come to this conclusion already?
