You certainly have a point. At 26:06 into the piece (as I saw it on U-Tube), at the very start of the final movement ("Autumn"), the heroic theme does seem to hit you in the face. This is the theme I claim to be a synthesis of the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto and the Chopin "Military Polonaise." I stand by my belief, but the only way to know for sure would be to ask the composer, if possible. The Glazunov similarity may just be coincidental, because even though it is striking...for the first few is fleeting, whereas the Tchaikovsky/Chopin is pervasive. Another example of probable "coincidence" (as opposed to deliberate plagiarism) is the Daniel Decatur Emmet song "Dixie," the first eleven notes of which are identical in tone and rhythm to a passage from Mozart's 23rd Piano Concerto in A Major, starting at approximately 2 minutes and 25 seconds into the third movement.
