Comments about the soundtrack for Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (Michael Kamen)
Completely Inaccurate

Completely Inaccurate   Wednesday, November 12, 2008 (3:52 p.m.)

I've been a reader of this site for longer than I can remember, and never have I ventured onto a review so erroneous as this one.

Most of the complaints are generic and subjective. The fact is that, while the music is dull at some points, mostly for the darker parts of the film, Kamen still brandishes amazing melodies, instrumentation and rhythm throughout the score.

Forget the overture - though it is an amazing theme, the score is still littered with far better and outstanding pieces of music.

The brevity of the review and string of generic complaints mark it as just being a poorly written review -- rushed with little consideration to the actual music in question.
