Did anyone notice that part of the main melody from Schindler's List is very similar to the first bar from Mahler's 8th symphony ("Symphony of a Thousand")
Part I "Infirma Nostri Corporis" played by the violas (A-D-A-D-Bb-A-G)? I found it very fascinating. Nonetheless I think that Schindler's List is an extraordinary score to an extraordinary film, but could we expect anything less than extraordinary from Williams?
