i would like to know the name of the piano piece that the woman is briefly playing at the beginning of chapter 8 on the dvd. its right after the group picture with oscar schindler and all his secrataries outside the pots and pans plant. any help would be greatly appreciated. feel free to send the answer to my email address at matt.lander@comcast.net. thanks in advance for any help.

I believe the song you're looking for is 'Gute Nacht Mutter', which is mentioned in the end credits of the film.

You can hear a MIDI sample of a version of it here: http://ingeb.org/refer/gutenacm.MP3

If you listen very closely, I think you will find the basic tune is quite similar.
