Actually, Rabin's Deep Blue Sea is a rip off of Goldsmith's Deep Rising

Although the tone and mood they are played for are different, note for note Deep Blue Sea is a rip-off of Deep Rising. Compare the theme is say, track 4 or 8 or 10 in Deep Rising, and compare that with track 1 of DBS.
it's nearly impossible to hum deep rising without carrying over to DBS or shrek
