Serious question - why exactly is film music reviewed here according to the number of leitmotifs present in the score? Is it really such an odd idea that a composer may not consider this trope as fundamental or important to the art of scoring films as another might be? That some composers might consider scoring for atmosphere or as a backdrop to be more important than inserting a leitmotif at every point that a certain face props up on the screen?

Just a little amusing to see how much of the review here is dedicated solely to counting the number of motifs in the score.
