  Superb score

And totally underrated. I don't agree with the reviewer. It has everything what serious Williams' scoring demands - moving string textures, subtle flute solos, cool electronica that evokes nerving nature of the picture, plus a very good themes. There is not much dissonant sound here, almost all is tonal, providing satisfying melodic lines. Almost every track brings some novelty, track 3 - rhythmic percussive/electronic action punctuated by brass clusters or track 4 - angelic chorus (who else than Williams can adapt the chorus so well!). Of course, there is also much of the somber tone that covers such works as Nixon, Saving Private Ryan or JFK, but still it has much class of its own. And there is one great theme here, full of pain and revenge I'd say (track 7 - Revenge) but is superbly balanced by uplifting and inspiring music at the end of the album. One of best dramatic works by John Williams. Four stars at least.
