The thing that angered me most about this year's Academy Awards was the non-deserving awards that Slumdog had won. ORIGINAL score being one of them. There are 2-3 tracks that are original and are a bit catchy, but lightyears from being Oscar worthy. Newman's Wall-E was better than this and of course I had Newton-Howard's Defiance winning this.

The Oscars don't look at quality anymore it seems, just as previously stated; the hype of a movie is vital. This soundtrack goes nowhere and I still consider it a compilation album, nothing more! HUGE disappointment at the Oscars this year...
