| Re: About the score...I thought Wall-E should have won too. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button ties with Wall-E, with Defiance as a runner-up and Milk a close third. Slumdog places a distant fourth. Sadly, I'm thinking that composers like Thomas Newman, James Newton Howard, and Danny Elfman will never be rewarded, due to the Academy Award's irritating, frivolous attitude with giving away the Oscars to which is more popular, not better. (I liked Slumdog, but it's not really "Oscar material"... I'd have prefered it to be a hidden gem). It's what given people like Gustavo Santoalla and A.R. Rahman undeserved trophies, and next year I predict it will happen again.
