  horner on sneakers

I was just watching sneakers for the first time and i heard a riff that was so horner-esque i googled horner and sneakers and this was the first site that came up. it was one note off from braveheart, my favorite movie of all time. i don't care how much he rips himself off. horner always delivers what i want to hear in a film and most likely always delivers what filmakers want in their films. as someone who would do anything to be mentored by horner, so as to enter his line of work, i must say i am constantly amazed at how modern he makes older films sound and even new films. in my mind he has a timelessly superior sound for film thst makes older films feel up to date. he integrates just enough pop techniques into classical that he makes all scores palletable to the common man.
