I found the Solaris soundtrack an unforgettable piece of art. When I watched the film, I found it boring. But I've still watched until the end, because I was captivated by the soundtrack. Rather than "just cold", or empty, I found the soundtrack incredibly intense. I didn't know gamelan music before, but I'd consider that soundtrack to be an "easy listening" kind of gamelan then .
Doesn't deserve a 2 star rating, this is just shocking to me.
