I recall remarking in the Jedi review that ALL the albums for that score sound bad. Each suffers from varying levels of muted ambience and other artifacts. On my system, the Sony ones seemed fine, despite all the fans' complaints about them in relation to the 1997 RCA version.

By comparison, Delerue's rejected music for Something Wicked has sounded infinitely worse than Jedi in all of its forms (other than the re-recording, of course) due to the "lost" masters. I can't stand listening to it, in fact. The Regarding Henry portion of that album is fine, though.
