The main problem with this album that it does not contain enough interesting orchestral solutions and motifs to maintain the attention of the listener. The tracks are performed well,as usual in case of Goldsmith, but this time, they do not remain in your memory for long with the exception of some cues. Some cues are excellent, nonetheless:The Final Flight with its heavy percussion, excellent brasses and virtuoso string play, the exciting action piece called The Scorpion, and the avant-garde piece called The Mirror, which starts out quietly with suspenseful and haunting rhytms, but by the end,it became a vibrant action track. All in all,Goldsmith are capable of writing better music.
