Expanded Version   Wednesday, October 8, 2003 (2:30 p.m.)

I'm a huge fan of this score but I feel that a bit much was left off of the album. While recently online I found out about an expanded DVD rip version. Does anyone have it? I would greatly appreciate a copy. Although, it IS a DVD rip so if you do have it does it have any SFX in the background? Anyway, if you have any information about this album AT ALL please email me at Thank you.

I have heard about a +20 DVD rip and it sounds nice, as the music does in the
movie. The tracklist is also promissing - see

My Silva screen CD is missing the last track (which I don't mind) but that
approx. +20 minutes, left off the release, make me sad. There are nice
rearrangments of Spock's theme, the Genesis Sunset sequence... ah, I love it.
If Khan was rated by 5 stars for its action themes, The Search should be given
4 (when considered with all that missing cues).

I'd like to encourage the dear readers to sign for complete/expanded release
of Horner's Trek scores at
