  End Credits - Re-recording or ST2-version?

Hi

Does anybody know wether the End Title from ST3 is the exactly same recording as in ST2, or perhaps a re-recording?

I suppose it's the same version, properly mixed up, because there aren't any remarkable changes (for me) and one can hear the ST3 Star Trek fanfare background noise clearly fading out lineary as the end credits suite commences, which supports the re-use theory.

Other opinions on this topic?
