I was sadly unimpressed with the original CD offering but thought that as a Trek fan and lover of soundtracks that I should buy it so at least it looks right on the CD shelf.
I am (unsurprisingly) as equally underwhelmed with the material on this CD as the original, only now there is more of it. So lacking in drama in nearly all tracks (as pointed out by the reviewer) by the lack of thematic material makes this the weakest of the Trek scores by a long way for me. Only my opinion of course, but I won't be playing this one any more.
