Lamia's Inn vs Dracula   Saturday, October 10, 2015 (5:57 a.m.)

I can't believe Clemmensen fails to mention the enormous rip of Wojciech Kilar's Dracula in "Lamia's Inn". The last five minutes of it are straight out of "Vampire Hunters"! It's as blatant a temp lift as any I've ever heard.

...and, to be honest, I kind of love it. I've always found the Kilar piece, while fantastic, to be a bit static, and what Eshkeri does with it is far more dynamic, morphing it into a full-fledged action cue by the end. If only it had been a credited adaptation, I'd be able to enjoy it without a sour aftertaste...
