I can't help myself. Either it is a trick of my ears or there is Star Wars music lurking in that track, to be more exact the theme from Yoda. Please tell me this is just my imagination.

It's just your imagination, trust me I know both these scores inside out and I've never heard it. Great scores though aren't they? I can't help by wonder how so many great themes can be written by one composer!!!

Actually its not just her imagination. A distinct part of Yoda's theme is absolutely included in this piece. Listen again youngling.

It's the origins of Yoda's Theme but it's not note-for-note, not until Williams writes the finished piece for EMPIRE.

BTW did you know that PLANET KRYPTON is just a musical variation of the CLOSE ENCOUNTERS
6 note leitmotif?
