  Sound vs Score

For anyone who has seen the film, the film puts much more emphasis on the sounds (machine mostly) rather than the score. From what I understand Lucas' original student film was focused strongly on this. The score really compliments the film quite well with its unusual sound. The only real place the score really comes into full is when THX emerges from "hell" and is witness the sunset. On whole though I dont know how well the score would hold up on its own but am glad to see it released.
