Music As Heard In Film?   Sunday, March 9, 2003 (6:34 p.m.)

would somebody tell me, when combining both soundtracks (Titanic, Back To Titanic), how the songs play in relationship to the movie, tell me in what order they are played in the movie, I am desperate, and I am working on a college project, so if you can respond, I would be most greatful

EVERY track was edited in some form to fit the film, so many
cues were changed, or dropped, but appear on the albums.
They include:
CD 1
'Never an Absolution' #1
'An Ocean Of Memories' #13
CD 2
All tracks (Score Only) except "A Building Panic" and "The Portrait"
were recorded for the "Back To Titanic" album only.

Hope this helps.

Re: different in the film version   Sunday, March 30, 2003 (6:31 a.m.)

"Take Her To Sea, Mr. Murdoch" and "Hard to Starboard" were also different in the film version - the synthesizer was mixed down and up some places and there was an enormous SCHH... sound when you see the iceberg in the film (on the album it's just a week schh.... sound)

The start of "Hymn to the sea" were also used as the film “Main Title” and some parts of "An Ocean of Memories" cue (the beginning) were used for the scenes containing the submarine scenes and even put in to replace the very beginning of "Distant Memories" as heard in the film.

Thank you!!!
