It's true. Horner didn't stole a tone or a few seconds, he stoled an entire track. In track 9 (Sinking of the Titanic) you can also hear this music in Waterworld track 17 (Deacon's Speech). Same musicians, same heroic, same choir.
Bad move Horner.

Hey your right! i'm adding that to my playlist of james horner plagiarism... ok cool. man, i'm a horner fan too - never noticed that one, though i own both - that was pretty bad. the choir is different (not too much though), but that is definitely a copy.
