Isolated score on the DVD   Wednesday, July 16, 2003 (2:19 p.m.)

Does anyone know if the isolated score is worth getting the DVD for? I agree that the music as presented on the CD was not as consistent as it could have been and therefore not the greatest listening experience, so Iím hoping the full version turned out better. Goldenthal has written some great music here that just seems underdeveloped at times on the CD.

Fortunately the DVD isolated score is the same as the CD with dozens of differents styles : jazz, orchestra, chorus, pop, circus music... A lot of jazz stuff is not on the CD but on the DVD isolated score (I think about the second orgy at the emperor's palace). Moreover, a lot of source music by Goldenthal is present on the DVD isolated score (when the brothers are playing on old video game...).
It's great.

It's great.

Taken all together the isolated score amounts to just under 98 minutes. So there is a hefty amount of music not available on the CD. Unfortunately, there is as yet no Region 2 DVD release.
