This remake is all the evidence you need to see that film music quality has gone down the toilet in the last 20 years. And for HGW apologists who say he was "just doing his job": Jerry Goldsmith was faced with stupid requests from film-makers all the time and he still won the battles. Composers these days are pushovers by comparison.
