Why didn't they go to one of the Media Ventures lackeys to raid the GLADIATOR library. As long as we're going to hear a half-assed product (no offense to Horner), why not regurgitate the best music from GLADIATOR and others? The film certainly leaned toward spectacle and brawn. I think it would have been nice to have something with a little more impact.

When the end of TROY rolled around, I not only noticed how similar it was to GLADIATOR, but how appropriate NOW WE ARE FREE would have been. After a (good) 3 hour movie, the ending has to have some real emotional resonance.
