It's correct that I like Silvestri's entry best, especially the awesome finale (it's a pity that due to time constraints these cues didn't make the CD). However, I find that The Scorpion King is a *****-score as well. It has some wonderful harmonic momentum in it's second half. And to cover all three scores, I also adore certain parts of Goldsmith's original. You simply cannot beat the angry old man when he's steamrollering you with the combined force of French Horns and African percussion!
