I agree with you. I'm disappointed too. This soundtrack adds nothing special to the film. The music works OK in the movie but that's all. Even a horror or thriller needs a theme, yes an 'emotional-tune' theme that reminds to the movie itself (after years...). This is what differentiates a good soundtrack from an average one (usually). And Williams was always able to write such themes, tunes and I hope he is...

This only serves the movie - the action scenes mainly. It's not bad, yeah film-music is written to do this generally. But still, I can't really enjoy listening to the soundtrack from track 1 to track 15.
So I would give ** or *** because of the great rhythmical effects applied, instrumental arrangement for (classical) orchestra and performance.
