I didn't think the trailers for the film had any original music at all. I know it definately used some from Gladiator.

There have been multiple trailers for the movie so far. The latest one has music that seems like it was composed specifically for movie trailers. It sounds like a cheap imiation of the score for The Rock. The Simpsons does this when it parodies TV shows and movies. Different notes, same thing.

Like every time there's a riot in Springfield, they play that "pseudo-Planet of the Apes" theme.

Hi! I'mn afraid that no oroginal music from the cd was used in the trailer.
It's right that they use music from Gladiator, but they use music from the move Plunkett & Macleane (which is written by Craig Armstorn) and original trailer music composed for the trailer. I hope this helps u.

I ABSOLUTELY know that the 2nd part of the music is not from RUDY. It is composed by Michael Giacchino. He wrote the music for the computer video game Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. The songs used in the game were used in the trailer. Here is a direct quote from the May 31st News Archive at www.planetmedalofhonor.com :

I've just got an interesting e-mail concerning the music that Michael Giacchino wrote for Medal Of Honor. The new Dreamworks movie, "Seabiscuit" features the music from Medal Of Honor in it's trailer. This is one of the first times I recall music for a game being used in a movie release. "
