Synthesizing Too Much!!!   Tuesday, September 26, 2006 (7:43 p.m.)
• Now Playing: Stolen Votes: Legend of Zorro/ Horner

For the score to World Trade Center; the composer does a good job on the main theme and thus; save him from giving him a "c". I give this score a "b" because it seemed like he just wanted to get the score over with and repeated it with many occurances of synthetic additives; which in my opinion I don't like; for the score based on a tragedy like this should be sensitive like he did with the piano solo; but adding the synthisizers just kind of makes me think he did so he would not have to write anything more orchestrial complicated or pure; simply because he did not want to do the work; but that is my opinion.
Overall, his score is great with the main theme; but he could have expanded a little more.

Signed,

Trevor

Yeah, i agree. He should have replaced the synth parts with smooth orchestral textures instead.
