Fantastic Journey (1990) This CD pays tribute to Danny Elfman,
Jerry Goldsmith, and other well-known composers of many generations. The
tracks from the old '50's films are funky and fun, and the more recent
material is well performed. Many of the scores represented on this
release are difficult to find themselves, so you might want to take that
into consideration upon purchasing this it. There are a few duds on this
release: namely Goldsmith's uncharacteristic Explorers and that
darned cantina music from Star Wars. Otherwise, a really good
release. ****
