Every year, Filmtracks has provided a place for fans to vote for their favorite CD release, composer, and "score as heard in a film" from the past year. Previous votes have yielded some blowouts, some close races, and some very interesting results. Please consult the rules and extra information about this vote before proceeding:

The vote started January 6th, 2001, and concluded February 6th, 2000.
For this election only, visitors could vote once per week (four times total) from a unique server address.
Votes were casually monitored to filter out ridiculous entries. Repeat voters (people who vote multiple times in the same minute/hour/day) were blocked automatically by a CGI script. Bounty hunters are being dispatched to seek these people out, just like the last three years.
Names and titles were verified, and must conform with the rules for each category stated next to the voting box.
Votes for scores of 1999 or 2001 were summarily expunged.
Manual recounts shall be conducted at the discretion of the Filmtracks Canvassing Board and may not be requested by a composer or fan.
