In years past, Filmtracks provided a place for fans to vote for their favorite CD release, composer, and "score as heard in a film" from the previous year. In 2005, the voting booth returned to the 'Cool Stuff' page, with rules similar to the booths that used to appear as a 'Theme of the Month.' The following were the rules and extra information about this vote:

The vote started March 1st, 2005, and concluded on April 1st, 2005.
For this election only, you can vote once per week (but no more than four times total) from a unique server address.
Votes are casually monitored to filter out ridiculous entries. Repeat voters (people who vote multiple times in the same minute/hour/day) will be blocked automatically by the servers. Bounty hunters will be dispatched to seek these people out, just like in previous years.
Names and titles will be verified, and must conform with the rules for each category stated next to each voting box.
Votes for scores of 2003 or 2005 will be summarily expunged.
