The Geffen album was a regular U.S. release in 1987, but
has long been badly out of print. The 1998 Soundtrack Library 020 bootleg
was only available on the secondary market. The 2009 La-La Land Records
album was limited to 3,000 copies and was initially available through
soundtrack specialty outlets for $20. It sold out within two months and
its price immediately escalated to $50.
