2 Disc Bootleg |

Recently i obtained the 2CD Mazeltov Bootleg of this score. It gives a more rounded impression of the actual score used in the film. The official release we see above, has some cues from the film. But misses out a tremendous amount of material (and actually some of the best cues) such as "Psalmus" (The Knighting of Columbus). "Raising the bell of Santo Domingo", "The Hurricane", "The Garroting", "Juanito singing". "Betrayal". The list is long and agonizing if you like this score, not to find them on the official release. The Mazeltov discs make an attempt to bring these much sought after cues back. It's a DVD rip basically, and unfortunately not totally free from audio within the movie itself. But it's the best we can do for now, while no complete release of 1492 exists thus far. I highly reccomend it if you like this score, because the official disc is a mix of genuiune cues, but several ambient tracks not used in the film.

Where can you get this bootleg? I love the soundtrack and always wished there was more. I always used to listen to it while doing my paper route.
