I've listened to Adaptation countless times, and cannot understand the one star rating it has receicved on this site. Yes, it is a little dissonant at times, but dissonance is not a bad thing. The point of soundtracks in general is to evoke a mood, and Adaptation's soudtrack evokes mood more effectively than any soundtrack out there. The mood? Scared, anxious, maybe a little paranoid. This is a good soundtrack. Try listening to it while reading Clive Cussler.
