I respect Wallfisch because he rarely writes crappy film music but I think Clemmensen gives him too many 4 star reviews. I would put Alien Romulus at 3 or 3.5 stars because Wallfisch can't resist destroying eardrums with his electronics. He needs to learn from Goldsmith about how to write horror and use synths without causing headaches.

I agree, in that I didn't like the synth or electronic noises. BUT the rest of the score is top draw and easily a 4!
