Hello my friend.
Like you I am a film music fan, but take care of your ears...Listening too much to film music could affect your music "culture"... The Apollo 13 film is scored by an excellent "film music composer" (James Horner) but not by a "composer". The difference might be very subtuble but the difference exists... Just listen to Mozart's Requiem (for Willow) or to Copland's Appalachian Spring (for your best film score of the century Apollo 13)

I don't want to be despicable or a music teacher but if you want so much to be a film music composer, keep watching movies and loving horner but listen to other music...

Your film music friend,
John Steven
